India - Easter 2007
We are putting together a 6 match tour of India to take place over Easter 2007.
The likely cost is £1600 per person sharing a room but this can be firmed up when we get a better indication of numbers. It is likely therefore that we will require a deposit of £250 per person in June plus 9 monthly payments of £150 by standing order July to March inclusive. Monies paid in will be refundable up to the end of January. From 1st February, any personal cancellation will need to be covered by your own travel insurance.
Broad tour details are as follows:
Dates/Duration: 13 nights (14 days) between 1st April and 16th April 2007
Locations: Mumbai and Goa areas (t.b.c)
Matches: 6 . We will aim to get every tourist who wants it, a minimum of 4 games.
Match duration; 40 to 50 overs a side.
Hotels: 3 star plus on a bed and breakfast basis. Twin beds and 2 to a room. We expect to stay in 2 hotels, each of which should have a pool and gym and if possible some other sporting attractions.
Meals: Apart from breakfasts, one presentation dinner on the last night and cricket teas, all other meals are excluded from the cost.
Sightseeing: 3 special sightseeing tours (optional) are included in the cost.
Transport: We will have free use of a coach to take tourists and their kit to and from airports, cricket matches, between hotels and on 3 sightseeing days.
Flights: Economy class from a London airport.
Courier: To be in attendance
Insurances: Individuals to organise their own travel and holiday cancellation insurance.
Kit: Bring your own. Tour shirts, cricket shirts, caps and bags are included in the price.
Tour Brochure: Will be produced prior departure and a diary will be published on return.
